Did anyone find out anything interesting at the party?  I think I might've gotten something . . . I don't know if it's important.  It seems as if Billy is nice as long as you play along -- He likes fire a lot, and he likes it when you don't mind about him setting them.  If you say anything about it, though, he gets upset really quickly.

It might be nothing.  I don't know.  If anyone runs into him, though . . . try and humor him.  . . . Maybe things would have gone differently if I agreed.

[For anyone who runs into him, Lucas now dons a stylish hat pulled down low over his face, and a strip of cloth cut as a mask wrapped around the top of his head with a single eyehole for his right eye.  If anyone asks, he is playing cops and robbers.  He bumps into things a lot.]

[ Opens the door! She's got bandages around the left side of her face and her hair is short now, but she's got the same bratty expression always. ]

What took ya so long? Anyway, come in. [ Walks back inside. Archy is sitting on the couch with a roll of bandages. He may or may not have helped Wy put new bandages on. ]

. . . Well. It doesn't look as if your burns are too deep, so I think I'll just use my PSI without, um. Other procedures. There'll still be a little scarring.

[Lucas smiles gently as he begins to lift a shining hand towards her face.]

[It probably doesn't hurt at all. The tissue underneath the burn is reforming into its proper shape as the cells begin to regenerate. Lucas keeps talking.]

I got on the stove and turned it on and stayed there.

We should've all been more careful. We're not the only ones . . . I don't think any of us should go off alone with them again.

. . . You could probably do that even with your burns. Um. I mean, you'd be physically capable of, but he'd probably mind control you into beating yourself up.

You don't need to thank me. It'd be pretty stupid if I had healing powers and never used them.

I'll get past that stupid mind control thing he does. An artist's mind is free, he can't expect to control me that easily.

I don't think that's the sort of free they mean when they say that. If that sort of thing makes you immune to mind control, though, I'd better learn to draw faster.

Well . . . not normal, but most people know that things like that can happen. By now, anyway.
