Did anyone find out anything interesting at the party?  I think I might've gotten something . . . I don't know if it's important.  It seems as if Billy is nice as long as you play along -- He likes fire a lot, and he likes it when you don't mind about him setting them.  If you say anything about it, though, he gets upset really quickly.

It might be nothing.  I don't know.  If anyone runs into him, though . . . try and humor him.  . . . Maybe things would have gone differently if I agreed.

[For anyone who runs into him, Lucas now dons a stylish hat pulled down low over his face, and a strip of cloth cut as a mask wrapped around the top of his head with a single eyehole for his right eye.  If anyone asks, he is playing cops and robbers.  He bumps into things a lot.]

That's the same way with me, too. Actually . . . I think the Magypsies tried to explain it once, but it went over my head a lot. The more experienced I got at fighting, the broader my powers became, and the more powerful PSI I could use.

Something like that. And every time I learn a new PSI, I get sick.

I'm sure there's some meaning behind how our magic works, but it's basically the same; the more we fought, the stronger we became.

Well, in some areas anyway. We each had our primary roles we were better at.

I thought so. There are a lot of people -- Well, not a lot, but a few -- who use that sort of magic. Have you met Miss Garnet?

Yeah, I have actually. I didn't know we shared similar magic though. ( a beat. ) Well, I guess it makes sense. Considering both our worlds have the Eidolon, and ones that are rather similar to one another too.

I-I'm at the hospital, I don't think they have my thumbs...I passed out and when I woke up I was here.

I don't know about Mr. Giriko, I haven't heard from him at all and I'm really worried.

Right, um, let's see... back where I'm from they're entities we can summon into battle. They're sort of tied to us in a way, in that they first appear when we're at our lowest point. They show up and help push us on the right path and give us the strength to carry on.

( plus the whole, fighting them and winning or die aspect. but hope figures it's would be best not to go into all that. )

I guess that's one way of putting it. And no, Alexander hasn't shown up yet. But Garnet got one of her Eidolon back, so maybe he'll show up soon too.
