Like hell I am! [A nerve has clearly been struck. Not that Lyn is anything but a coward, and he's perfectly well aware of this, but he tries to maintain the outward appearance of being tough. If the call were filtered to only Lucas, he might have considered saying "so what?" and owning up to his cowardice, simply because he's on friendly terms with the boy - though this is making him wonder if Lucas actually would judge him for it - but on a public line where anyone could be listening? Not a chance.] Anyway, there's plenty of people freaking out about this worse than I am. I'm suggesting actual useful shit. How the fuck does that make me a coward?
