Lucas is clearly exhausted, and so he's quite understanding of the boy's need to lean on some support. He even rests light hands on Lucas' shoulders.
Whether or not it had ever come up before, Silence isn't surprised that Lucas has psychic abilities. After all, his own world has Mind magic, which are essentially psychic abilities in any case...though of different, more limited utility than what Lucas has demonstrated.
